Community Education Has a New Satellite Location

July 8, 2014

We are excited to announce our recent partnership with The Sharonville Fine Arts Center! The Art Academy of Cincinnati, Community Education Department will be teaming up with the center to offer classes for children, teens and adults.  Classes at this location will be starting fall 2014. Look for our fall brochure that will be out in August for class offerings.

The Sharonville Fine Arts Center is run by the Sharonville Fine Arts Council.  The mission of the Council is to implement a comprehensive arts and cultural initiative for the City of Sharonville and the surrounding region.

Built in 1920 as a one-screen movie house and vaudeville theater, three side-by-side buildings were renovated in 2008 in historic downtown Sharonville to bring this entertainment and art icon back to life. The SFAC won Cincy Magazine’s the Best of Northern Cincinnati Arts Center from 2013-14. The center has provided an economic anchor for the downtown corridor and has been the hub for diversity of artistic and cultural endeavors for the entire region.

The Community Education Department is excited for this partnership and look forward to the opportunity it brings.
