Create Articulated Self Portrait Puppets
Led by Visiting Artist Lizzy DuQuette (she/they)
Discover the the ins and outs of creating articulated puppets in this interactive art workshop.
Puppetry allows us to imagine possibilities – of who we can be, of the world we want to live in, and of how we shape our experiences. Make a movable self-portrait puppet for toy theater or stop-motion animation. We will explore simple mechanisms for two-dimensional movable puppets.
Materials will be provided. Please arrive promptly at 11:30 to ensure complete instruction.
NOTE: This workshop is for currently enrolled AAC students only.
