Opening Reception: Friday, October 10th, 5-9pm​

The Art Academy of Cincinnati is pleased to present a wonderful group exhibition: Cincinnati Unveiled. Please join us for a reception next Friday, October 10 from 5-9pm, with works on display in the McClure and Pearlman Galleries through Sunday, October 26th. Reception and galleries at the AAC are always free and open to the public.

Cincinnati Unveiled is a landmark exhibition offers a rare opportunity to explore the city’s artistic and cultural legacy through innovative works by alumni, faculty, staff, regional artists, and one exceptional current student. This inaugural presentation marks the first time AAC has mounted an exhibition of this kind, with plans to continue the theme biennially. Large-scale works will also be showcased at AAC’s dedicated exhibition space in the newly renovated Cincinnati Convention Center opening in 2026, where installations will be displayed and rotated year-round.

The exhibition features artists Scottie Bellissemo, Ashley Brossart, James Effler, Kim Flora, Elizabeth Hilton, Jeffrey Cortland Jones, Kamaire Jones, Ryan Kerr, Chad Koehneke, Margeaux Lim, Sara Mulhauser, Rachel Reisert, Fleda Armistead Ring, Kathleen Streitenberger, Nina Wells, and Katie Brenner Wolf, representing AAC alumni, faculty, staff, a current student, and regional and Cincinnati artists.

Cincinnati Unveiled is made possible through generous support from an ArtsWave Catalyzing Impact Grant, the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), the Greater Cincinnati Foundation, the Charles H. Dater Foundation, the Millstone Family Foundation, the Vista Foundation, and the Carol Ann & Ralph V. Haile, Jr. Foundation. Additional corporate and community partners include 3CDC (Cincinnati Center City Development Corporation), Orange Barrel Media, and sponsors aligned with the America’s River Roots 250 Festival, all of whom contribute to the sustainability, visibility, and impact of this landmark exhibition.
