WHAM! BAM! SLAM! is a first-of-its-kind, multi-venue comics event that will transform the AAC campus into a celebration of comics art and culture. On Saturday, November 14, 2026, the event kicks off with a Comic Expo and Artist Alley in SITE1212, coinciding with AAC’s final Open House of the year. As part of WHAM! BAM! SLAM!, AAC will also host two exhibitions on view in the Pearlman and McClure Galleries from November 14 through December 4, 2026. AAC will present regionally, nationally, and internationally recognized comics illustrators, showcasing the breadth, creativity, and cultural significance of the comics art form. The Chidlaw Gallery will feature a pop-up exhibition of original work by current AAC Illustration students.
