This weekly course is for juniors and seniors in high school to develop, create, and present a final portfolio for the college admissions process. By participating in College Admissions Portfolio Preparation at the Art Academy of Cincinnati, students will be guided by an Art Academy of Cincinnati professor on methods to produce quality artwork and to present the work in an appealing and comprehensible manner. This course will culminate in a formal portfolio review by an Art Academy of Cincinnati admissions counselor during the fifth session. Students will have access to the AAC’s exceptional studios to hone their skills when conceptualizing and composing multiple artworks to be considered as part of their college application.
It is suggested that students bring the tools and supplies they regularly use in their practice. Supplies will be different for each student to match their art/design interests. Below is a suggested guide.
