William Knipscher Presents at Society for Photographic Education Conference

October 3, 2014

Assistant Photography Professor William Knipscher has won the The 2014 Midwest Society for Photographic Education Conference Scholarship, in doing so he will be presenting his work at the conference on Saturday, October 18th, in Madison, Wisconsin.

Knipscher’s work “explores the themes of impermanence and temporality. His work is expressed through a physical manipulation of photography that collapses the boundaries between technology and craft.” His work was a natural fit for the conference as this years theme explores the use of archive within the contemporary photographic and artistic practice.
