Future Now Beaux Arts Ball

To celebrate the success of its 150th anniversary, the Art Academy of Cincinnati’s (AAC) Alumni Association is reviving its popular Beaux Arts Ball. The costume gala is known for its unique and sometimes wild designs.

This year’s theme is the Future Now Beaux Arts Ball and will take place Saturday, November 2, from 7 pm—12 am at the Art Academy of Cincinnati.

Come prepared to step into the future as Android of Ceremonies, Crystal Tubes (BFA ’17), leads guests through this futuristic voyage. Evening festivities will include palm readers, space-age belly dancers, and a collaborative sensory art installation by Bunk News, Channel 77, and Art Academy professor, Matthew Dayler.

The event will also feature musical performances by DJ Nils Illoken, Moonbeau, and MultiMagic.

Guests will enjoy specialty cocktails mixed by Molly Wellmann, a Beaux Arts Ball Brew from 3 Points Brewery, wines by local Revel Urban Winery and Seconda Volta Vineyards, Bourbon tasting by Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits, and food by the bite provided by local favorites BonBonerie, Fausto, Taglio, and others.

Stay for the after-party to hear music from popular local band Moonbeau and enjoy cocktails from Homemaker’s bar.

This historic one of a kind fundraiser is part of the Art Academy’s continuing commitment to creativity and innovation. Guests will get to learn more about the college’s exciting future from president, Joe Girandola.

All proceeds will benefit the Alumni Association Student Scholarship Fund and the Future House.
