To say we have rad people that work at the Art Academy would be an understatement. Meet Galen Crawford, Director of Student Services and Human Extraordinaire.
For a second year in a row, five Art Academy students were paired with five Master Artists to create a permanent outdoor exhibition designed to bring beauty, love and comfort to the families and children of the Greater Cincinnati’s Ronald McDonald House.
Alicia Elizabeth Little (AAC Sculpture ’13) just opened Heavy Breathing at Neon Heater.
The exhibition runs May 18-30, 2015.

Art Academy of Cincinnati will be hosted their 2nd Annual Art Auction on May 16th, 2015. Proceeds from this invitation only event will be used to benefit the students of the Art Academy.
The Art Academy of Cincinnati announces that Joan Kaup has joined their leadership team as Vice President for Institutional Advancement. In this role, Kaup will manage the Development Office, the Office of External Relations, and the Department of Community Education.
Congratulations to students Jenna Sprouse and Dani Tellez on being invited to share their work at the 6th Annual Dr. Jonathan B. Riess Undergraduate Art History Colloquium.
Since 1959, the Art Academy of Cincinnati has been exhibiting sculptures at the Civic Garden Center of Greater Cincinnati. What once started as stone carved sculptures shown on the patio of the Garden Center has now become site-specific installations found throughout the grounds including the Hauck Botanic Garden.
The Art Academy of Cincinnati and the AAC Community Education Department are proud to be site sponsors of the this years Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. Since 1923, the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards has grown to be the nation’s longest-running, most prestigious recognition initiative for creative teens and the largest source of scholarships for young artists and writers.
On November 7th, during the Celebration of Teaching luncheon, the Greater Cincinnati Consortium of Colleges honored some of the best Professors in the region with the Celebration of Teaching Award. Among them was the Art Academy of Cincinnati’s Assistant Professor, Jimmy Baker.
