Congratulations to students Jenna Sprouse and Dani Tellez on being invited to share their work at the 6th Annual Dr. Jonathan B. Riess Undergraduate Art History Colloquium.

Dr. Jonathan B. Riess (1947-2006) was a beloved teacher, colleague, and scholar of the Italian Renaissance art and the Arts and Crafts movement at the University of Cincinnati for 30 years. In 2010, a M.A. alumna from UC, Becky Bilbo began the colloquium where she teaches at Thomas Moore College to honor her former professor.

In years since the event has been hosted by the Art Academy of Cincinnati, the University of Cincinnati and Mount St. Joseph University. The Art Academy of Cincinnati’s Liberal Arts Department was proud to host this years event and continue the tradition.

At the event Art Academy senior Jenna Sprouse presented “J.M.W. Turner: Transformation through Myth,” and AAC junior Danielle Tellez presented, “Yasuo Kuniyoshi – Daily News.”
