Charley & Edie Harper’s massive exhibition of early works are now on view!

Make sure to stop by the Art Academy of Cincinnati to view Harper Ever After

October 4 – November 1, 2013

This is a museum quality exhibition featuring early works by husband and wife Charley & Edie Harper.  Harper Ever After features hundreds of works that are rarely seen, and groupings depicting Charley’s relationship to the war.  The exhibition is a dense network of drawings and prints that show a more complex vision of what you think you know about the Harpers.

Matt Hart Poetry Reading Recorded Live in Athens GA, May 2013

Here’s a link (see below) to a reading I did in Athens, Georgia back in May at the Word of Mouth Series. I’m introduced here by the late, great Aralee Strange. Aralee was a former Poet Laureate of Over-the-Rhine, who had relocated to Athens from Cinci about eight years ago. She was a poet, a filmmaker, and a playwright. Sadly, she passed away in July at the age of 70. My reading follows her introduction. I hope you dig it. Matt
