The Art Academy of Cincinnati is a community of radiant, radical, forward-thinking artists and designers who have helped mold the creative landscape for 150 years.
To celebrate, the Art Academy of Cincinnati presents, “AAC Future Tense Present,” an exhibition to celebrate Art Academy’s 150th Anniversary.
For this exhibition, you'll enjoy work from our 2019 Alumni Grant winners, an interactive timeline documenting our bold past & radical future, and we'll have some fun items on display from our archives. Along with, 6″x 6″ artworks will be created by alumni that each represents what our 150 Anniversary means to them.
The Bella Ribbons Project:
A collaborative effort by US-based artists Sarah Stolar & Seth D. Myers, The Bella Ribbons Project is a multidisciplinary body of work that explores diverse variations of displacement of time and space within the construct of an ethereal and psychological landscape. The Bella Ribbons Project encapsulates the conceptual and visual research developed over the course of Stolar and Myers’ 18-year collaboration. The Project includes video installation, single-channel video, short film, photography, drawing, sculpture, and ephemera.
