Art Academy of Cincinnati (AAC) invites the public to experience the 2026 MAAE Exhibition, celebrating the work of artists and educators whose practices span disciplines, communities, and stages of artistic development.
The Master of Arts in Art Education (MAAE) exhibition features current work by students in AAC’s graduate program, a low-residency degree designed for K-12 art and design educators practicing artists. Completed over three summers, the program combines rigorous studio practice, art education seminar coursework, and art history, providing students the opportunity to deepen their creative practice while exploring contemporary approaches to teaching, learning, and artistic inquiry. The AAC MAAE program is designed to accommodate the schedules of working educators while fostering a vibrant community of artist-teachers committed to making meaningful contributions to the field of art education.
