Community Education

Everyone’s an Artist

Eart academy of Cincinnati exteriorvery year, nearly 2,000 people of all ages study art through AAC’s Community Education program. Courses are affordable and open to all; we have classes for people of every skill level, from beginners to accomplished artists. Subjects run the gamut from standard disciplines such as painting, sculpture, and photography to hard-to-find offerings like glassblowing, bookbinding, and comic book art. Our programs include:

  • Summer Portfolio Preparation: an intensive three- or six-week course that helps high-school artists get their work ready for college application.
  • Art for Kids: Saturday art classes during the school year for kids aged 5 through 12.
  • Camp Art Academy: six separate one-week camps from June through July.
  • Adult/teen instruction: Courses are available for everyone from beginners to experienced artists in drawing, ceramics, photography, painting, sculpture, and more.
  • Community Outreach programs: Working to bring art to Cincinnati's neighborhoods and schools.
