T-2 days and counting! At this time on Thursday, Kourtnei, Julio, Kayla Hamilton (aka “Schweebs”) and Myself will be in Mussolini’s old stomping grounds, also known as Pizza Land, also known as Italy…barring any unexpected struggles. We will, however, take them in stride (for instance, why pay $150 for 15lbs of overweight luggage? Shampoo is overrated anyway). But in spite of any previous post discrediting mass transportation, I am confident that Delta Airways is much more competent than Greyhound, and so the “storm” is comprised of last minute errands to goodwill, the bank, T-mobile, etc. And then we’ll be off. Hopefully it is “smooth sailing”, and I don’t realize 2 hours over the Atlantic that I forgot to take my laundry out of the dryer or turn in a library book. Because, as Jay Z. would say, “That would be just…bad”. But on the bright side, I haven’t yet had to jettison my socks. So I guess here’s to skipping the calm and taking the storm by the horns…or something.
