Through all this weekend, I have been working on my ”Multiple Project” of Sculpture 1 class. It took a lot of time to find final result. Although it seems that the Sculpture 1 is more about casting rather than sculpting, I like to spend more time on my works and real sculpting. The piece I am working on is a male torso which is not that big. I will make at least 4-5 of that torso and create an installation. It is done now and I am making a mold of that with silicon. Hopefully, I will finish it tonight – I have to finish it since the critic is on Thursday October 14.
I am going to use some Persian motif on the final sculpture, like Persian typography. Actually the idea of using Persian typography on my sculptures came in my mind when I was working on one of the Core assignments which was about typography – it seems that Core class has some advantages
I think it is an interesting idea to combine to different media together and create something new. i can not wait to see how it will be like.
