School’s Out… For Summer.

I can’t believe today was the last day of classes. It didn’t feel like ti at all. Probably because I still had mondo amounts of work to do all day. I had two crits today, in creative process and color theory, both of which my pieces weren’t ready for when I awoke this morning. I got up early and finished my creative process pieces, and had a good crit. I was proud of my work. Then throughout the day, I had to finish my COlor The Master project for Color Theory, which I got done as well (on a roll!). I was really proud of that piece; it turned out wonderfully! Which is why I was depressed when I got a B-. INJUSTICE. I’m usually pretty spot on when it comes to judging my own work, and that piece was better than a lot of the pieces in the class– pieces that got a better grade than mine. Eh, it’s all relative. Art is subjective. It’s as simple as that. Regardless, it’s been a great year. Classes down, one art history final to go. Game done. Bring it.
