Umm…so, does it make me a bad person that this is the first time I’ve posted in like, forever? I hope not. But if so, let me just say that I’ll bring marshmallows, chocolate and graham crackers to hell. That burning furnace will probably toast them to a perfect golden brown.
But enough about delectable treats and eternal damnation.
This first month of school has been HECTIC, at the very least. I was lucky enough to have been chosen as one of the Resident Advisors for the dorms (Julio is the other) and they’ve been easy on me, so far. And while I may have just jinxed myself, I feel prepared to take it on. Here’s why: Julio and I did a week’s worth of training in August to prepare for the task, and it was pretty informative. On top of that, we got to get our First Aid and CPR certificates from the Red Cross, so we’re prepared to save a life, if need be. Or at least we can if the person exhibits the same symptoms as the mannequin.
On to other news, today I went up to Clifton and helped out with the Street Scapes project. Basically, it’s like sidewalk chalk, except you get to use colors other than white and variations of.
This year, we decided to do Vermeer’s “The Milkmaid”.

How fun! And no, you aren’t necessarily a bad person, just don’t make it a habit!
