“Mopey” Monday

You’ve all had them: the Monday’s that you just wish would end so you could get on with the rest of your life, but jumping this hurdle is a necessity to achieving that goal.

Thankfully, mine just ended (well, the dragging part, that is).  I was in senior seminar for the morning, struggled through drawing in the afternoon, and played soccer this evening.  I went to the gym after that because I’ve been feeling kind of sluggish lately.  While I do play soccer two evenings a week, I don’t really do any other exercise. This summer I worked out quite a bit to battle the lethargy that came with the heat (I know it sounds dumb: “battle fatigue by making yourself tired?!”  but the long-term results are more energizing, and I also bypass the insomnia that is present otherwise).  So, since lately I’ve had a touch of non-productive insomnia, I thought I’d up the ante and start working out more often, when I have time.

But, again, now that Monday is over with, I have gotten on with life.  Unfortunately, that means pulling an intentional all-nighter tonight.  I have to finish up some VizCom projects that I’m working on because tomorrow he’s grading us on the progress we’ve made.  Oops.

(P.S. sorry about the pedantic, borderline rant in the last post)
