Many Things Going On

This week has been crazy busy!

Monday came and I had two critiques in one day. One being in Print on my linoleum print which i am really excited that I got all that out of the way. After Print there was a crit in Photo for the street photo project. That went rather well. Interesting argument came up during the critique, I”m just going to throw it out but not give my opinion because I’ll let you judge the subject… Art depends highly on the presentation of it (in regards to mats, hanging, etc.). For example here is the analogy my teacher used. A high quality steak prepared in a mediocre fashion is not as good as a lower quality steak being prepared in a phenomenal manner. What do you think?

Tuesday I had work and then Drawing. In Connie’s class we had a critque on our cityscape drawing (I’ll get photos up soon on flickr to share). I really appreciated all the feedback I received on my drawing… all in all I’ll say it was a good critque. After that had my break in the day then Art History where we are doing presentations of works within the CAM.

Wednesday came and went with not much going on except for grinding down a stone in Print for a Litho print. And that was about it

  1. An impressive share! I’ve just forwarded this onto a co-worker who had been conducting a little homework on this. And he in fact bought me dinner due to the fact that I stumbled upon it for him… lol. So let me reword this…. Thank YOU for the meal!! But yeah, thanx for spending the time to talk about this subject here on your website.

  2. Really good blog. Thanks you very much for your time in posting the blog.
