Happy Labor Day everyone! What better way to celebrate than to watch a young pre-teen boy sing about living the “teenage dream”? Haha. I hope everyone’s weekend was as amazing as mine.
My birthday was on Thursday so my older brother came up from Florida to hang with the family and help me celebrate. I got a new tripod for my camera and a new Intuos 4 tablet pen… Which is a behemoth compared to my desk, so I still need to do some rearranging and such what.
Saturday, my boyfriend and I took my bro to Kings Island and had a BLAST. It was packed, though, and we were only able to get on four rides in a five hour time span. (Pathetic, I know…) We did get to ride the Diamond Back which was AWESOME. If you have a crippling fear of heights (aka my boyfriend), than this ride is definantly the ride to cure it.
I finally wrapped up my weekend with a nice long day at Kheener park (which I have photos from and will be editing and posting soon!), then went back to Megan Kelley’s house to watch Labrynth for the first time… Final verdict? CREEPY. I absolutely did NOT appreciate the super tight pants David Bowie was wearing during the whole movie. I don’t care if you’re stick thin or super famous, you CAN NOT pull it off. No one wants to see your crotch… Okay, scratch that. A LOT of people probably would want to see your crotch, David Bowie… Just not me.
All in all, it was a productive weekend… sort of. I still need to finish mounting my Illustration project that’s due tomorrow and figure out how I’m going to build my sculpture for Drawing 3. I’ll post some of the concept sketches soon and you guys can help me brainstorm ideas.
Quote of the Day and it done say:
“I am so clever that sometimes I don’t understand a single word of what I am saying.” ~Oscar Wilde
This is certainly a superb post. Thank you so much for making the effort to explain this all out for all of us. It is a great help!
Wonderful goods from you, man. I’ve understand your stuff previous to and you’re just too excellent. I actually like what you’ve acquired here, certainly like what you’re saying and the way in which you say it. You make it enjoyable and you still care for to keep it sensible. I cant wait to read much more from you. This is actually a great website.
