End of the week!

I went job hunting today after touching on some projects for school.  After I pounded pavement downtown in Cincy, I attended an “Open Mic Night” event at the school, where a bunch of students read their poetry.  Stacey and Derrick did really well! (they are freshmen in the dorms) Finally, I ended my night with some light research on graduate schools and jobs I might like to apply to after graduating based on location.  Right now I’m super divided: International graduate schools can be WAY cheaper than American ones, depending on which country you are in; Tampa, Florida has the ideal climate and my best friend lives there (I haven’t seen her for over a year) and it has the added advantage of an abundance of side jobs I could take as a waitress, bartender, etc.; going to another school NOT based on location; finding a middle level school in an city that one of my friends and I talked about moving to together; and so on.  Why is this so overwhelming?  What if I spend so much time doing research and avoiding making a decision, that I don’t make one at all and go absolutely nowhere in life?! Lions and tigers and bears! Oh, my! But I was doing the research while watching “10th Kingdom”  if you know what that is. It’s like a fairytale…saga.

On the bright side, I did find some pumpkin flavored syrup to add to my coffee in the mornings, so with that festive tidbit, things don’t seem nearly as daunting, I suppose…Or rather, I wish.
