At Work Making Lattes

Right now I am at work at Iris Book Cafe on Main Street making tons and tons of lattes and getting my latte art on throughout the day. One of the positive sides of working before school in the morning is that i get all hyped up on espresso and then go and crank out some drawings once i leave. It’s simply the best way to start out a day!

I have a 12:30 Drawing Class today with Constance McClure and we have a critique, not really feeling to great about my drawing. Just a little background information, I DO NOT LIKE DRAWING, but i know i have to do it so I bear through it and accept what i do and try and be happy with what i do, hey at least I try. After drawing I have my Approaches to Art History Class where we are discussing Vasari’s writings of da Vinci, then after that I have my last class of the day which is 20th and 21st century. After that I am off back to Birmingham Alabama to see the family and hang out with some friends in Nashville Tenn.

Its not that i dont like Drawing with Constance, I simply adore her, by far one of the most knowledgeable teachers at AAC by far. Drawing to me is just a hassle because I never like the stuff i produce within class. I’m hoping this will change this semester and also I am going to try and keep an open mind!

  2. I precisely needed to thank you very much again. I am not sure the things that I would’ve created in the absence of these suggestions shown by you about that subject matter. Completely was the difficult circumstance for me personally, but being able to see the very expert strategy you processed the issue forced me to cry for contentment. I am grateful for this guidance and thus expect you know what a great job you’re doing teaching many others with the aid of a blog. I am sure you’ve never encountered all of us.
