Not all of the learning at AAC takes place in the classroom. It also happens in the student studios.
This is where our students just get to be. You’ll find people hanging out here morning, noon and night. Students spend as much time in their studios as they can—experimenting, tossing ideas back and forth, amusing themselves, getting (and giving) feedback. This is where AAC undergraduates teach each other and teach themselves. It’s where they take ownership of their education and their creativity.
It’s where they stop being students and start becoming artists. All juniors and seniors are guaranteed studio space at AAC, and some space is available to sophomores. Most studios are shared by two or more students. They are open 24 x 7 in AAC’s secure building, so you can work whenever the mood strikes. If you make a visit to campus, be sure to drop in on some of the student studios. For more information, contact the Admissions Office at (513) 562-8740.
