Third Wave is a curated art show featuring five exhibitions from the following artists:
Christen Collins (screenprint major) uses Photography, Printmaking, Design, Drawing, and Craft making, transforming her materials into curious creations that are strongly manifested by her connection to the natural world.
Julie Morehead (screenprint major) hones in on music and the consciousness of ones mind while creating her pieces. She uses ink/other materials to create vivid energetic works of art.
Gabby Gowles (photography major/other material)uses a lot of different materials, including video game art, where she uses the identity of her online character as the bases of her work a long with personal identity.
Evan Mauntel (photography/video) is a videographer who is deputing his short film Mothball that portrays life, death, and in search for immorality.
Jessy Jenkins (painting/drawing major) that works with materials including paint, rugs, video and illustration animation to portray intimacy.
The work will be up from April 10th – April 14th.
Closing reception: FRIDAY April 14th at 6pm-12am.
