Community Ed Partners with Walnut Hills NEP

August 19, 2014

Community Education is honored to be a part Walnut Hills Neighborhood Enhancement Program.  The program will last 90 days and focus on enhancing aspects of community health, removing blight, lowering crime and overall improvement of the neighborhood.

As a partner of NEP, we will be providing After-school Visual Art Educational Programming for Frederick Douglass Elementary School. This enrichment opportunity will provide programming that is essential to a child’s development as well-rounded young citizen who will benefit from comprehensive education. Including visual art as a necessary component encourages life-long learning, problem-solving, team-building and critical thinking skills. Visit the Community Education’s page to find out more about our Community Outreach Programming.

Enrollment to the program is open to those attending Frederick Douglass Elementary and those living in the neighborhood. Stay tuned for additional details.
