Community Education

Everyone’s an Artist

Every year, nearly 2,000 people of all ages study art through AAC’s Community Education program. Courses are affordable and open to all; we have classes for people of every skill level, from beginners to accomplished artists. Subjects run the gamut from standard disciplines such as painting, sculpture, and photography to hard-to-find offerings like woodworking, bookbinding, and comic book art. Our programs include:

  • Summer Studios Children & Teens: Summer art classes designed to give children 10-12 and teens 13-17 years of age a good foundation in a variety of visual arts disciplines.
  • Adult/teen instruction: Courses are available for everyone from beginners to experienced artists in drawing, painting, photography, sculpture, and more.
  • Community Outreach programs: Working to bring art to Cincinnati's schools.
