Camp Art Academy is back!
Convenient downtown location/Supervised drop-off/pick up/Secure building and classrooms


Camp Art Academy offers six seperate one-week camps for 5 to 12 year olds from June to July.  Morning and afternoon classes during each week are unique.  Your Camper has the option of enrolling in morning only, afternoon only or full day camp each week.  Camp Art Academy offers different topics every week, all designed to spark and direct your child's creativity and imagination in the visual arts.  Campers may sign up for any number of weeks.  Cost includes materials, field trips and visits by guest artists.  Each class has an instructor and an assistant.  Children are grouped by age, with approximately 15 campers in each class.  Activities are geared to the sensibilities and interests of each age group.  Space is limited; please register early to avoid disappointment! Before and After Camp Care is available.

Camp Art Academy is located in the Art Academy building, 1212 Jackson Street, Cincinnati Ohio 45202 in Over-The-Rhine.  Over-The-Rhine contains the largest collection of 19th century Italianate architecture still standing in the United States.  The entire 360 acre district of Over-The Rhine is recognized on the National Historic Register. 

  Program Dates
  June 11 through July 27, no camp the week of July 4th.
  Camp Cost:  Full Day $245 and Half Day $155 per week.
  Camp Hours:  Full Day 9:00am to 4:30 pm,
  Half Day AM 9:00 am to 12:15 pm., Half Day  PM 1:15 to 4:30 pm.
  Before Care and Afer Care
  Cost: $35 each per week. 
  Before Care hours 8:00 to 9:00 am and  After Care hours 4:30 to 5:30 pm.

Summer Studio for Teens is six seperate weeks of summer programming designed to give teens 13-17 a good foundation in a variety of visual arts disciplines.  Students  will work with an instructor in a specific subject for one full week in half-day classes.  Classes are arranged to allow students to take classes a full day each week.  Each class is progressive, but also allows students to begin at the level they feel comfortable and gives room for personal explorations into each subject.   

Program Dates are July 11 through July 27, no class the week of July 4th.
Studios are $145 and includes supplies.
Class hours are from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm or 1:30 to 4:30 pm

Photography Boot Camp
Program Dates are July 9 through July 20 (2-weeks only)
Fee is $ $465
Hours are 9:00 to 4:30
Photography students should bring a brown bag lunch and an afternoon snack and drink or they may purchase lunch at Kaldi's and snack and drink from our vending machines (both located inside the AAC). See online catalogue link below for further details.
