Transfer Credits
Transcripts from other appropriately accredited colleges or universities are evaluated by the appropriate Department Chair. Only grades of “C” or higher, from courses that are applicable to the Art Academy's curriculum, are transferable. A maximum of 60 semester credits may be transferred into the BFA program. The Art Academy reserves the right to decline credits that are more than 10 years old, unless a degree has been awarded. Transfer credits will not be evaluated until a final transcript has been received.
The deadline to apply for admission as a transfer student for the Fall 2009 semester is June 30, 2009. Arrange to have your transcript sent from your former institution directly to the AAC Admissions Office, and otherwise follow the basic steps for undergraduate application.
