JOE FISHER, Assistant Director of Admissions
The best thing about my job is interacting with and helping young visual artists to discern and realize their creative/artistic potential as an AAC student.
When I show a potential applicant around AAC, I always make sure they see student studios. I feel candidates relate to these things, as they often have a similar space at home in their bedroom or in their basements. They relate to the atmosphere of creativity and the unbridled energy.
The most common questions I get from interested students are questions about financing a private-art-college education. We have a generous entrance scholarship program and financial aid packages to help make attending the Art Academy of Cincinnati a reality.
If I were a freshman at AAC, the course I'd really want to take is Foundations Core. That class would be like a spiritual retreat for me!
