A 1.5 credit studio class meets for one hour and twenty minutes two times a week with at least 1.5 hours outside of class per week. 2.40 x 15 = 36 hours a semester.

The transfer courses must be compatible with the Art Academy's program and are evaluated by the department chairs. Grades should be 2.0 or higher and are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Acceptance of credits earned more than 10 years ago will be at the discretion of the appropriate department chair and the Academic Dean.
