National Portfolio Day at the Art Academy
is Saturday, October 1, 2011. Portfolio reviews will take place from 12-4 pm. Portfolio reviews will be offered by Art Academy faculty along with representatives from more than 30 other art colleges and university art department. All colleges in attendance hold NASAD accreditation and are members of the National Portfolio Day Association.
This event is an excellent opportunity for high school students to get feedback on their artwork and learn more about art degree programs . Visitors can also learn more about admissions requirements and available scholarships. Matting or framing of artwork is not necessary as this is not a competition but rather an educational experience to gain feedback from college professionals on your artwork. Visitors will receive an information packet with a list of programs/majors offered by the Art Academy and the other institutions along with review locations within our facility.
