The annual Art Academy Juried Student Exhibition is now open for public viewing in Chidlaw Gallery. More than 50 pieces in a range of 2D and 3D media, including painting, drawing, photography, mixed media, carved marble, installation and more. Art Academy students of all levels and majors are represented in the exhibition. $1000 in cash and purchase awards (including cash awards from the Franklin Folger Trust) will be presented to the top art works in the exhibition.  This year's juror is Jason Franz, AAC Alumnus '88 and Director of the Manifest Gallery and Drawing Research Center in Cincinnati OH.

The exhibition was organized, managed, and installed by the AAC Student Gallery Committee: Charles Kleiman, Evan Halter, Lydia Collins, and Liz Hardy.

Exhibition Dates: November 19 - December 17, 2010
Opening Reception: November 19, 5-8:00 pm. Award Presentation following High School Art Card award presentation in Convergys Gallery at 6:00 pm.

The Chidlaw Gallery is on the lower level of the Art Academy Building at 1212 Jackson Street across from the Gateway Parking Garage. All exhibitions are free and open to the public. Hours are 9-9 Monday through Friday and 9-5 on Weekends.
