The Art Academy of Cincinnati’s three galleries exhibit art by and for AAC students, faculty, and the larger community. All undergraduates have the opportunity to exhibit at least once during their four years here, receiving public exposure, practical experience, and constructive criticism. Other exhibition opportunites for students include the Annual Juried Student Exhibition and Minimental Exhibition. The galleries also host curated exhibitions by professional artists, with accompanying lectures and workshops.
In addition to their teaching function, the galleries give students an opportunity to build relationships. Receptions, lectures, and other gallery events foster interaction among students, faculty, and others who care passionately about art.
