REGISTRAR PROCEDURES
ADDING OR DROPPING
Courses may not be added after the first day of semester except
with the consent of the instructor. An Add/Drop Form may be
obtained from the bins located in the student mailroom
(or provided by the Registrar). All applicable signatures must
be obtained and the form must be turned in to the Registrar’s
office in order for the course to be added.
DROPPING A COURSE OR WITHDRAWL
Students may officially withdraw from a course by completing
the Add/ Drop
Form, which are available in both buildings (from
the Registrar). All applicable signatures MUST be obtained
and the form must be returned to the Registrar in order for
the withdrawal to take place.
If the withdrawal takes place during the first four weeks of the
semester, the
course will not appear on the student’s transcript.
If the withdrawal takes place during weeks five through eleven a
grade of ‘W’,Official Withdrawal is earned. A ‘W’ is non-punitive
and does not affect the student’s grade point average.
If the withdrawal takes place after the eleventh week a grade
of ‘UW’, Unofficial Withdrawal is earned. A ‘UW’ is as a
failing grade.

UNOFFICIAL WITHDRAWLS
Students reported as not attending for two consecutive weeks
will be unofficially withdrawn as of the last dated attended and
a grade of ‘UW’ is earned. A ‘UW’ is a failing grade.
STUDENT CLASS LEVELS
0-29.5 (credits) - First Year Student (Freshman)
30-59 (credits) - Second Year Student (Sophmore)
60-89 (credits) - Third Year Student (Junior)
90+ (credits) - Fourth Year Student (Senior)
