Counseling Services
The Art Academy offers free counseling to enrolled students Tuesday through Thursday

9AM - 5PM in room S255.  Students can make an appointment by stopping by or calling

513-562-6261.  The counseling is quiet, free and confidential.  Referrals for other

counseling or community  services can also be arranged through the counselor.

Disability Services Office
Students with a documented disability are provided with assistance.

These students will be granted reasonable accommodations on a case-by-case

basis for physical and learning disabilities (including ADHD) in accordance with the
Americans with Disabilities Act.

Some of the services offered to students are:

>  Note takers for all classes needed

>  Readers for specific classes

>  Tutors for art history

>  Alternative testing for those with learning disabilities that concern test taking

The Learning Assistance Center
Located on the 2nd level, North(N203) and in front of the lecture hall is the Learning Assistance Center.

Students can find a writing tutor there on Fridays and other days it is open for tutoring and

small study group meetings.   We have a Quiet Study Area behind the Lecture Hall on the second floor

where students can concentrate fully on studying without interuption. 

                    Writing Enrichment

This class is designed for students who need enrichment in their writing skills.  Students must take and

pass this class in order to succeed in their future years at the Art Academy.  When finished with this class

students will understand the structure of a sentence and will have explored various writing styles.  

The Art Academy believes in giving 100% guidance and encouragement to help the student succeed.
