Outreach Programs


P&G Outreach project

Since 1993, Procter & Gamble has funded a yearly project through
the Art Academy of Cincinnati called Visual Art Outreach program
for Cincinnati Public School classrooms. The Visual Art Outreach
program provides elementary school students a three-hour lesson
with an accomplished local artist. The artist offers a visual art
approach to learning subject matter and demonstrates to the
classroom teacher ways to incorporate hands-on visual art into
prescribed curriculum. The generous funding from P&G allows
us to offer the program currently to sixty-five Cincinnati Public
School elementary classrooms, at no cost to the school.




Over-the-Rhine Community Art Project

The Over-the-Rhine Community Art Project is a collaborative
effort by the Art Academy of Cincinnati and Peaslee Neighborhood
Center to engage Over-the-Rhine residents in the process of
creating public art. This community-driven project involves
community participants at every level of the artistic process.
