The Art Academy also offers an Associate of Science Degree in Graphic Design. It is an accelerated two-year
program that is intensive and career focused. The program is designed for students who currently hold a
bachelor’s degree in a related field of study and/or related professional experience. Instruction begins
with foundations core, visual communication, typography, and digital media with an emphasis on applying design
principles to visual problem solving. Students study in art and design history, drawing and graphic design courses
that will serve to provide an opportunity to complete a portfolio of work to pursue a career as a graphic designer.
